Natural Leadership FASD Network
The FASD Specialist with the Southern First Nations Network of Care has been working with Natural Leaders from a number of the 10 partner agencies to formalize Leadership Networks. Individuals and groups have been offered the support of the FASD Specialist to share knowledge, resources, organize community events, advertise community events and receive organizational support to meet the objectives of their group. In the near future this group may be tasked with assisting to roll out Standards for individuals, families and communities that are living with FASD. These groups will be encouraged to link in with the larger FASD provincial network as well as local FASD Coalitions and other services that support children in care either formally or informally.
