Consultations

The FASD Specialist can assist case managers or birth families with case planning. These consultations will be referenced by the FASD Standards which came into effect September 1, 2011. Link: www.gov.mb.ca/fs/cfsmanual/1.4.9.html

The FASD Specialist can remain involved in a case to support the work of the family or the case manager to ensure children and families whom live with a FASD have case plans that reflect collaboration, cultural appropriateness and best practice in service delivery.
